What is The Event Style Profile?

The Event Style Profile is a chic new e-design service for weddings and events which provides our clients with all of the information and visuals they need to take their event to the next level style-wise.

The Event Style Profile was launched by the renowned event design firm Birch Design Studio. It was created exclusively for those who would love to incorporate a very high level of design and a custom approach into their celebrations, but are not looking for comprehensive event design, planning and management services.

Why the Event Style Profile?

Working with our clients over the course of many years, we have learned that everyone – EVERYONE – has a personal style, even if they don’t think so at first! Everyone has a unique personal aesthetic and a unique set of visual values, but most people (even the most stylish) have a hard time articulating it, let alone translating it into the scope and scale of a special event.

We took years to develop an exclusive process to identify, articulate and shape that unique personal style in a way that it can be applied to a special event, and used throughout that event to support an overarching vision.

This is a process we go through with every one of our clients, for every type of event (from children’s birthdays, to weddings, to corporate milestone celebrations).

Through the years, working with our clients, we have come to realize that this process is so foundational in creating the unique vibe, the custom look, and the total experience of each event. Because it is so foundational, we have decided to open our process up and make it available to anyone planning a wedding or an event.

The Event Style Profile exists to bring customized event design to a much wider audience, by:

Assisting anyone who wants to do most of the legwork, but needs help with the creative process.
Helping anyone planning an event who is unsure of what look or style they are seeking, but they know that having an expert guide the aesthetic and experiential aspects of their event is of critical importance to them.

How Does The Event Style Profile Work?

Through the very same process we use with our full-service clients, we will work with you to define and articulate your unique personal style, and then help translate that very style into the scope and scale of a special event.

We begin with a phone consultation with you to gather the keys to your very own celebration style.

Your next step is a homework assignment. Don’t worry - our homework assignments are fun and easy!

Once you return your homework to us, we review and analyze your homework in great detail, and your individual event style begins to take shape. We then create the design blueprints for your event using inspirations from far and wide: our past events, events created by others, architecture, interiors, landscapes, theater, fashion, and more.

We will provide you with custom color palettes, design concepts, linen ideas, lighting recommendations, and detailed rental suggestions (from glassware to chairs and beyond).

You will receive a digital catalog of your own unique Event Style Profile so that your vendors understand your sense of style and how to translate that style into an overall vision of your perfect celebration.

Best of all, this is done with you via phone, email, and secure shared files, from the comfort of absolutely anywhere…You can do it lounging on your couch in a ball gown while eating pizza, in the car on your way to work while applying mascara, or on a walk in the park in your pajamas.
